History of computer

History of Computer History of Computer  Development of computer or History of computers or Technical evolution of computer  The computer is approximately 3000 years old the first machine which we known is a bacus  machine was developed by Chinese people 3000 years ago this still be used in Russia Japan and even in India also for primary education  It was as a counting device and later an per mathematical calculation so the history of computers does back to 500 BC, when the Chinese invented a calculating machine called Abacus. abacus, a device of counting beads in things or rods, was used to calculate and store the immediate results of mental arithmetic. although the abacus is still widely used in countries like China, Japan and other Asian countries, it does not provide long term storage of information. this machine is capable of carrying out addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.  Napier Bone -- Another manual calculating devices was d...

Capacitors

Image
Capacitors The capacitors are components incapable of controlling current by means of another electrical signal.its called passive devices. The Capacitors store and release electrical charge.  In other words, A capacitor is an electronic device that stores electric charge or electricity when voltage is applied and releases stored electric charge whenever required. capacitors are most widely used electronic components after resistors .  The capacitor acts as a small battery that charges and discharges rapidly. Any object, which can store electric charge, is a capacitor. Capacitor is also sometimes referred as a condenser. What is electric charge ? The electric charges is the basic property of particles such as electrons and protons. This electric charge causes them to experience an attractive or repulsive force when placed in an electromagnetic field.Electric charges are of two types-- positive and negative.  Electrons have negative charge and protons have...

Madam Ada Augusta

Image
One of the so beautiful Lady Ada Augusta or Ada Lovelace. Augusta Ada king, countess of Lovelace was an English mathematician and writer, chiefly known for her work on Charles Babbage's proposed mechanical general- purpose computer, the computer name was Analytical Engine. She was the first to recognize that the machine had applications beyond pure calculation. and She published the first algorithm intended to be carried out by such a machine. As a result, she is sometimes regarded as the first to recognize the full potential of a computing machine and one of the first computer programmers. Lovelace was the only legitimate child of poet Lord Byron and his wife Lady Byron. All of Byron's other children were born out of wedlock to other women. Byron separated from his wife a month after Ada was born and left England forever four months later. He commemorated the parting in a poem that begins, " Is thy face like thy mother's my fair child! ADA! sole daughter of my h...

vacuum tube

Image
vacuum tube Vacuum tube A vacuum tube is an electron tube or valve or device that controls electric current flow in a high vacuum between electrodes to which an electric potential difference has been applied. The type known as a thermionic tube or thermionic valve uses the phenomenon of thermionic emission of electrons such as signal amplification and current rectification. Non-thermionic types, such as a vacuum photo tube however, achieve electron emission through the photoelectric effect, and are used for such as the detection of light levels. In both types, the electrons are accelerated from the cathode to the anode by the electric field in the tube. The simplest vacuum tube, the diode invented in 1904 by John Ambrose Fleming, it contains only a heated electron-emitting cathode and an anode. Electrons can only flow in one direction through the device- from the cathode to the anode. Adding one or more control grids within the tube allows the current between the cathode to ...

Data, Processing,Information,Knowledge, EDP, Data Processing System Development, Data Processing modes.

Data — Data word made of Latin word  Datum word. Datum mean a single unit of data.  It is a raw facts example numerals, statistics, which after processing give a meaningful information are called data. For example, the name the attendance of the employees of the company can be called data. The name of the students, roll no, and marks obtained in the examination are the data for that school. Processing -- The manipulation of data such as character, numerals, statistics or graphics is called the processing. Data is first collected, verified and checked for authenticity, then it is arranged in meaningful required pattern and kept in records. It is sent to the persons in need anywhere and any moment they ask for. The processing includes calculation,- addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. comparison--equals, greater than, less than, zero, negative or positive. conclusion/ Decision making -- To derive out various suitable alternatives under certain conditions. Computer introduction

Computer Introduction The Nature have gifted human beings a powerful communication resource in the form of language to interchange ideas and communicate. Human being, using his excellent intelligence, developed computer, to manage and generate information, as per our requirements, in a systematic manner. Computer helps business organisation manage and allocate resources properly by aiding managers in decision-making process. managing an industry is almost as good as managing the information for control and decision making. Airlines and \Railway reservation system with database client-server architecture and real-time on -lie translation processing system has given us feel of betterment. In these days, our scientists is working on super quantum theory or method to developing a quantum computer also. The Quantum computing is the area of study focused on developing computer technology on the principles of quantum theory, which explains the nature and behavior of energy and...
